You pay for the way there only. The driver drives back on their own, and their return is already in the one-way rate, so there's no return fare to pay.
How is a one way fare worked out?
The road distance × the one-way rate for your car (Sedan ₹16/km), at least 80 km, plus a ₹250 night charge for a start between 10 PM and 6 AM.
Can I change my mind and offer a different price?
Yes: name your own price instead of the fixed fare. Drivers accept it or send their own.
